Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

  1. Fundraising articles are written by FIT editors often based on information provided by fundraising pages originally written by fundraisers on Virgin Money Giving events pages. Fundraisers are asked for consent prior to publication on fit.care and this is recorded on this website. We will not use this information for any purpose other than to publicise the original fundraising activity, and we will delete this information on an annual basis.
  2. Some events include some personal details e.g. the name of the person who has inspired the event. We undertake where this is the case to only use that information for the purpose of fundraising for FIT and will delete that information once fundraising is complete or a maximum of 1 year later unless you specifically request us not to do so by sending an email to graham@fungalinfectiontrust.org.uk
  3. NOTE Articles published on this website may also appear on the Fungal Infection Trust website.
  4. When you donate you are using the financial facilities provided by Virgin Money Giving who have published this page on their compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (2018) and have their own Privacy Policy here. FIT has access to some personal details recorded by VMG which we may use for internal analysis (e.g. to record total amounts donated, to contact some fundraisers occasionally by email or post) but will not pass this data on to anyone for any purpose.
